by Konilah Laflore The Griffith Girls High School Soccer team delivered an impressive performance on Senior Night, securing a 9-0 victory over Hammond Central. Junior, Miriam Avalos, lead the offense, contributed three goals and one assist. Senior, Regan Hornyak followed closely behind with two goals and one assist, further adding to the team’s lead. Junior, Morgan Von Ogden added another two goals and one assist, and Senior, Gabriela Szczodruch added one goal to the tally. To finish the game, freshman Mallory Stordeur scored the final goal, proving her varsity placement was not in jest.
