By Rosalio Cortez After enduring a five-game losing streak, the Griffith Mens' Varsity Soccer found its fire and dominated the Hebron Hawks 4-1 in its September 28, 2024, game. Manny Balderas put on a show, racking up two goals with assists by Josh Lucas and Colin Budack. Budack picked up his second assist of the game by helping Michael McKinney, who then went on to score a second goal with Ryan Rose and Gabe Goral assist. Goalie Connor Steele, meanwhile, held Hebron to zero points, recording five saves in the net. Joseph Valdivia also recorded one save. Griffith, now 4-6-1, will take on Marquette Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5.
