Griffith Dominates Hebron To Start Up Their Winning Streak. By Rosalio Cortez After enduring a 5-game losing streak, Griffith fired back up after dominating the Hebron Hawks on Saturday, September 28th. Griffith had 4 goals last Saturday. Manny Balderas put on a show, racking up 2 goals to quickly fire up 2-0 against the Hawks. Balderas' two goals were assisted by Josh Lukas along with Collin Budack. The next two scores were by Mikey Mckinney, along with Gabe Goral, these were assisted by Ryan Rose and Budack picking up his 2nd assist of the game. The game's highlight player was Connor Steele, who held Hebron to zero points, Steele recorded 5 saves in the net. Joseph Valdivia also recorded 1 save. Griffith's victory bumped their record to 4-6-1. Looking forward to keeping this winning streak alive and to finish the last two games of the season strong, Griffith will take on Marquette Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5th.
