# Greensburg Salem's Gabi Henry Excels at National Clay Target Championship Greensburg Salem sophomore **Gabi Henry** represented both her team and her school on the national stage this July, competing at the USA High School Clay Target League National Championship in Mason, Michigan. The prestigious event featured only the top **1,800 student-athletes** from across the country, with competitors earning invitations based on their performances throughout the season. Henry competed in both the team and individual competitions, helping her team finish **87th out of 234 schools** from across the nation. During the team competition, she continued her outstanding season by recording **one straight 50 and four straight 25s**, demonstrating remarkable consistency under pressure. In the individual competition, Henry turned in one of the top performances of the tournament, shooting an impressive **98 out of 100** with a **reverse run of 42**. Her score earned her a **third-place finish among all female competitors**, qualifying her for the championship finals. During the finals, Henry once again showcased her talent, posting a **97 out of 100** with a **reverse run of 21**. She ultimately finished **14th overall among female competitors** and **141st overall** when combining both male and female participants from across the country. Henry concluded an outstanding season with a **23.05 scoring average**, finishing **second on her team** and solidifying herself as one of the area's premier high school clay target athletes.
