Greensburg Salem Track and Field will be well represented at the WPIAL Championship Meet, which will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Slippery Rock University. Several Golden Lions athletes have earned the opportunity to compete against some of the top athletes in the region after outstanding performances throughout the season. Representing the boys team will be: * Max Topper in the 110 Meter Hurdles * Justice Castaneda-Payne in the Triple Jump * Luke Rullo in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump Representing the girls team will be: * The 4x100 Meter Relay team consisting of Grace Cardoni, Bella Dinkel, Ryann Luce, Reese Price, and Madalyn Steel * Ryann Luce in the 100 Meter Hurdles * Bella Dinkel in the 100 Meter Dash and 200 Meter Dash * Mia Harkcom in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, and High Jump * Sophia Demorest in the Discus The Greensburg Salem community is extremely proud of all of our Track and Field athletes for their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments throughout the season. Qualifying for the WPIAL Championships is a tremendous achievement and reflects the commitment these student-athletes have shown both in competition and in preparation. We wish all of our Golden Lions the very best as they compete at Slippery Rock University and hope to see many of them advance to the PIAA State Championships in Shippensburg over Memorial Day weekend.
