Grant Varsity Soccer travelled to Tri County High School on Wed Sep 2. The Tigers are coming off an 8 to 0 win over Reed City. After a warm first half Grant entered halftime with a 2 to 0 lead. Sophmore Maddux Page scored the first two goals. In the second half the Tigers kept control of the midfield. Maddux Page scored 3 more goals. Senior Chendel Lara, Junior Elijah Gort and Aiden Mansfield all scored goals. Ayden Clark, Aiden Mansfield and Elijah Gort contributed an assist. Senior Luis Rodriguez and Senior Chandel Lara both had two assists. Sophmore Blake Vantreese had a clean sheet. Tiger defense was anchored by Senior Jaden McCullough. The Grant boys team remain unbeaten in conference and will travel next week to Kent City.
