Grant Varsity Tigers jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Austin Tyers singled, scoring two runs, and Jacob Gates hit into a double play, but one run scored. Grant Varsity Tigers scored seven runs on five hits in the top of the second inning. Jack Swanson doubled, scoring one run, Kohen Obenauf singled, scoring one run, Blake Rider drew a walk, scoring one run, Tyers doubled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run. A sacrifice fly by Rider extended the Grant Varsity Tigers lead to 11-2 in the top of the third inning. Rory Fish earned the win for Grant Varsity Tigers. The pitcher surrendered four hits and two runs (zero earned) over five innings, striking out five and walking two. Kipton McArthur took the loss for Chippewa Hills Varsity Warriors. The southpaw went two innings, allowing five runs (three earned) on one hit, striking out none and walking four. Hunter Richter led things off on the hill for Chippewa Hills Varsity Warriors.
