The Tigers had their first track meet of the season on Tuesday, April 14th. The weather was pristine and the tigers were ready to hunt down some coyotes. These athletes won their events: Jayden Avink - High Jump with a jump of 5'10. Madasin Almyda - 100 meter hurdles with a time of 20.83 and she dominated the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.07. Dayton McKinney: 200 meter dash with a time of 25 seconds flat. Jesse Dehaan: 300 meter hurdles in 49.97. Those were our event winners of the meet. Our individual point leaders for the girls was Madasin with 11 points, and for the boys, Jesse Dehaan with 9 points. Congrats to them on a good start to the season. We also had plenty of PR's (Personal Records): Jesse Dehaan - Long Jump 18'11 Kelvin Verhaar - 400 meter dash 59 seconds Catarina Ferrari - 100 meter dash 15 seconds, 200 meter dash, and shot put Sarah Bero - 400 meter dash, 200 meter dash, and shot put Victoria Ventura Rodriguez - Long Jump, 100, and 200 Jared Conley - Disc 77ft Jayden Avink - Disc 90ft, Shot 32 ft 8in Knowledge Hatch - Shot put, disc, and the 100. Bobby "the mean machine" Cronkright - Shot, disc, and the 100. Maddux Page - Ran a stellar mile in 5:29 Oscar Courtier - Long Jump 18ft 2in, 100, and 200. Joshlan Mendez - 800 & 1600 Bodie Semlow - Pole Vault, 300meter hurdles, and the 400. And last, but not least, Mr Bryce Wallace running a 1:38 in the 400. That was a huge PR for him!
