Varsity vs Oakridge High School (7-1) Win Game 2 Varsity vs Oakridge High School (12-7) Win Game 1 Game 1 Grant Varsity Tigers Come Back To Defeat Oakridge Varsity Eagles Grant Varsity Tigers trailed by as many as six, but came back to top Oakridge Varsity Eagles on Wednesday, 12-7. Oakridge Varsity Eagles got on the board in the top of the first inning after Logen Huston singled up the middle, Cooper Grimm singled down the right field line, and Grant Varsity Tigers committed an error, each scoring two runs. Grant Varsity Tigers jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Austin Gragg was struck by a pitch, Owen Chesebro walked, and Jack Swanson was struck by a pitch, each scoring one run. Rory Fish started the game for Grant Varsity Tigers. The righty surrendered five hits and six runs (four earned) over four innings, striking out 10 and walking one. Zaiden Phillips doubled, scoring one run, Austin Gragg singled, scoring one run, Gavin Kiliszewski singled, scoring two runs, Austin Tyers tripled, scoring one run, and Kohen Obenauf drew a walk, scoring one run. A double by Lane Phillips extended the Grant Varsity Tigers lead to 7-1 in the bottom of the second inning. Tyers stepped on the bump first for Grant Varsity Tigers. The righty surrendered zero hits and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out seven and walking two. Alijah LaNore stepped on the mound first for Oakridge Varsity Eagles. The righty allowed six hits and six runs (two earned) over one inning, striking out one and walking two. Tyers, Kiliszewski, Owen Chesebro, Gragg, Blake Rider, Phillips, Obenauf, and Phillips each collected one hit for Grant Varsity Tigers.
