JV Falcons Strike Early, Attack Throughout in 2-0 Victory The JV Freeland Falcons came out strong and carried that momentum to a 2-0 victory, scoring both goals before halftime and continuing to pressure the opposing defense throughout the second half. Freeland opened the scoring when Bryce Zehnder found the back of the net off an assist from Tyler Cudworth, giving the Falcons an early 1-0 lead. The Falcons added to their advantage later in the half when Emmett Cairy sent a pass to Zehnder. Zehnder received the ball with a quick spin move to fire off a shot that found the back of the net. The goal gave Freeland a 2-0 lead heading into halftime. The Falcons continued to generate offensive pressure after the break, putting many shots on goal and keeping the opposing defense busy. While neither team added to the score, Freeland’s defense remained strong and held the opponent scoreless. When the final whistle sounded, the Falcons had secured a 2-0 victory, with Zehnder providing both goals and Freeland putting together a strong performance on both sides of the ball.
