The team competed Saturday at the Heritage Invitational at Delta College. The boys kicked off the day with the entire team running new personal best times and placing 6th as a team. Including medal performances from Eli Graham at 5th, Nathan Diffin 12th and just missing out at 21st Ethan Mielke. I want to highlight Hudson Buckmaster who took 2:30 off his previous time and finished with a 15:34. Next up were the girls continuing with another strong performance winning the team championship, and a number of new personal bests. In the medals were Evelyn Chan placing 3rd in 13:01.4, a new personal best and a time that puts her on the Freeland Middle School Top 10 Cross Country Board. In 4th and less than 3 seconds behind with a new personal best was Bryar Rytlewski 13:03.9. In 6th was Hailey Haven with a personal best 13:12.6. In 13th Adalynn McNalley and just missing out on the medals in 21st Brianna Ryan. Also running new personal bests were Brynn Zissler, Hannah Gronski and Mackenzie Larimer.
