Junior Varsity vs John Glenn High School (6 - 1) Win JV Falcons Roll Past John Glenn, 6–1 The JV Freeland Falcons continued their winning streak, rolling past John Glenn 6–1 behind a balanced scoring attack and another strong defensive performance. Freeland wasted little time finding its rhythm. Carter Kubiak opened the scoring with a goal assisted by Isaac Amthor. Freeland added to its lead when Amthor found the back of the net off a feed from Tyler Cudworth, sending the Falcons into halftime with a 2–0 lead. The Falcons came out of the break with the same attacking intensity. Liam Hahn sparked the third goal by dribbling toward the John Glenn goal and firing a shot that deflected off the goalkeeper and into the net, extending Freeland’s lead to 3–0. Freeland continued to pressure the John Glenn defense, as Kubiak connected with Bryce Smolarek, who unleashed a powerful strike into the net for the Falcons’ fourth goal. Emmett Cairy added another goal scoring from a penalty kick to make it 5–0 before teaming up with Kubiak for the sixth and final Freeland goal of the night. John Glenn managed to break through late, scoring its first goal on a penalty kick. The goal marked the first goal allowed by the JV Falcons this season, ending Freeland’s shutout streak. Still, the Falcons had already built an insurmountable lead, closing out a 6–1 victory with six goals from five different scorers. Freeland’s offense continues to find ways to generate chances, while the Falcons’ defense has established itself as a consistent team strength
