Freeland started strong in the 4th minute when Ian Harden played a through ball to Jonas Koehler, giving the Falcons an early lead. However, Frankenmuth responded three minutes later after Freeland struggled to clear the ball, tying the match at 1-1. Both teams traded chances before Frankenmuth took the lead, capitalizing on a cross to the back post to make it 2-1. Frankenmuth started fast in the second half, scoring three minutes in and eventually extending their lead to 5-1. Freeland attempted a comeback with goals from Reed Bandlow and Jackson Puvalowski, but fell short. Frankenmuth took the 5-3 victory, moving Freeland’s record to 10-3-1. The Falcons host John Glenn this Wednesday.
