Freshman vs John Glenn High School (18 - 27) Loss Freshman Falcons Battle John Glenn The Freeland Freshman Falcons hosted the Bangor John Glenn Bobcats on September 17, with the Falcons battling back with three touchdowns after falling behind early. John Glenn took a 13-0 lead before Freeland answered with an impressive 98-yard touchdown drive. Quarterback Matteo Aimar capped the drive with a 45-yard touchdown pass to Wesley Otto, cutting the deficit to 13-6. After John Glenn added two touchdowns in the third quarter, Freeland responded with two scores in the fourth. Aimar scored on a 1-yard touchdown run before Eli Senkowski recovered a Bobcat fumble. On the very next play, Aimar connected with Otto for a 23-yard touchdown. Aimar finished 5-of-14 passing for 132 yards and two touchdowns while adding a rushing touchdown. Otto caught two passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns, while Riley Blohm had two receptions for 55 yards. Senkowski led the Falcons defensively with five tackles, a sack, a fumble recovery and a blocked PAT. Brandan Stamann and Kaden Koepf each recorded four tackles. The Falcons travel to rival Frankenmuth on Thursday, September 24, for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff against the Eagles.
