Varsity vs Garber High School (6 - 1) Win Freeland traveled to Garber for the 5th of a 5 game road trip Freeland scored in the 6th minute when Ryan Brown was fouled in the box and converted the PK to take the 1-0 lead. It took less than 3 mins for Garber to convert a PK of their own to tie the game at 1-1. In the 15th minute a Garber goal kick was intercepted at midfield by the head of Jackson Puvalowski who directed it to Jon Obeso. Obeso used his left foot to bend it around the keeper and a 2-1 lead. In the 24th minute Obeso played a lovely ball diagnolly across the defense to the feet of Ian Harden who finished around the keeper for the 3-1 lead going into the half. In the 56th minute defender Travis Lloyd won a ball and played it into the box where Jonas Koehler finished for the 4-1 lead. Just a few minutes later Oliver Ung played a ball into the box, after bouncing off a few players Colin Earls collected the ball for the 5-1 lead. In the 68th minute Puvalowski collected a ball behind the defense at the corner of the box. Always poised, he turned and laid a ball off for Cole Harden and the 6th and final falcon goal of the game. A solid team effort secured the 6-1 victory sends Freeland into the weekend prepping to host Frankenmuth on Monday.
