Junior Varsity vs Alma Senior High School Win The Freeland JV Falcons delivered another strong performance, combining steady offensive pressure with a shutout defensive effort in a 5-0 victory over the Alma Panthers. Freeland opened the scoring when Davis Kenney connected out of the backfield with Nolan Gassner, who fired a shot off the inside of the post and into the net. With just two minutes remaining before halftime, an Alma deflection created an opportunity for Colton Sentz, who bodied the ball past the keeper to give the Falcons a 2-0 lead at the break. The Falcons kept the pressure on in the second half. Isaac Amthor took a run and buried his shot for goal No. 3. Liam Hahn followed with a well-placed strike that skimmed the crossbar and found the net, before Jack Weiss capped the night with Freeland’s fifth and final goal.
