Match on Wednesday 8/26 For the second TVC Jamboree, the Freeland Girls Golf team continued its strong start to the season with a 2nd-place finish and a new season-best team score of 368! ⛳️🦅 The Falcons improved by 20 strokes from their first TVC Jamboree, finishing behind Frankenmuth (354) and ahead of Swan Valley (386). Alexis Heinz once again led the way, firing an outstanding 73 (+1) to finish 2nd overall. Lauren Gerhardt also had a strong day with a 94, finishing 10th overall, while Julia Kretz shot a 95 to finish 13th. A great step forward for the Falcons, with plenty to build on as the season continues Match on Thursday 8/27: The Freeland Girls Golf team wrapped up a busy week at the Patriot Cup, hosted by Frankenmuth at The Fortress. The Falcons finished 18th out of 24 teams with a team score of 406 while competing against one of the strongest fields they have seen this season. The tournament featured quality programs from Divisions 1–4 from across the state, all taking on the beautiful but challenging layout at The Fortress. Alexis Heinz led the Falcons with an 85, followed by Julia Kretz with a 99. It was a great opportunity for the Falcons to test themselves against high-level competition and gain valuable experience as the season continues
