Ogemaw Heights led 21-0 with 5:23 left in the third quarter before Freeland mounted a comeback, cutting the deficit to 21-14 with 5:15 remaining in the fourth on a 14-yard touchdown pass from Elijah Washabaugh to Max Tompa. Landon Brown then pinned Ogemaw at their own 5-yard line with a clutch kickoff, but Ogemaw fought out of their own territory and eventually sealed the 27-14 victory with a game-clinching 40-yard touchdown run on fourth down with 2:53 left. Offensively, Washabaugh finished with 51 rushing yards, a touchdown, and 105 passing yards, while Brock Geth (41 rushing yards, seven tackles), Ryan Watkins (28 rushing yards), and Isaac (three catches, 42 yards) all contributed. Defensively, Ike Sulfridge led the effort with eight tackles (two for a loss), Colton Cunningham added seven tackles, and Evan Leahy recorded five tackles and an interception. #keepworkinghard #FalconPride
