What a weekend for the Falcons! FRESHMAN The Freshman team had an outstanding weekend at the Mt. Pleasant Tournament which had 32 teams, they battled their way to a 2nd Place finish in the Silver Bracket! A great weekend of competition, growth, and teamwork for our young Falcons! VARSITY The Varsity Falcons battled through a competitive Midland Dow/Chemic Tournament, finishing 0-1-2 in pool play before making their way into bracket play. Pool Play • Lost to Ubly — 21-25, 23-25 • Tied H.H. Dow — 25-19, 22-25 • Tied The Sault — 20-25, 25-21 The Falcons came back strong in bracket play, defeating Bay City Central 25-17, 25-21 to advance. Freeland then faced H.H. Dow once again, falling 24-26, 21-25. H.H. Dow went on to win the tournament, making the Falcons' battle even more impressive.
