Boys' Track opened up their indoor season this weekend at the University of Indianapolis where Pike hosted the Red Devil Classic. The flashes featured new talent with freshmen Justin Reedus, Drew Wright, Hudson Moritz, Jose Butler, Zeke Draher, and Ray Hunter. The high point of the day was the 4000m distance medley relay. They (Ashman, Moritz, Farmer, and Henkle) currently have the 2nd fastest time in the state of Indiana. In the field, Mathew Bertram cleared 13' in pole vault and Jalen Howard PR'd with a high jump of 6' 0". In the 60m hurdles, Wyatt Penney led the team with a 6.99. It was a good start to the Flashes season. Boys' Track is in action again the Friday night at the indoor HCC meet at Depauw University.
