The Franklin Central Lady Flashes basketball team defeated New Palestine 58-54 on Tuesday night. The team had a very balanced attack led by Lily Graves with 15 points, Carys Wilson with 14 points and Mattie Finney with 12 points. The team had some big plays down the stretch by Emma Mcvey and Lily Graves to secure the win. Outstanding defense was played by Mattie Finney the entire game on All-Star Candidate Isabelle Gizzi of New Palestine. Next up is Conference opponent 2nd ranked Hamilton Southeastern on Thursday.
