The volleyball team played Crawfordsville Tuesday night for their final MAC match of the season. The JV played well in their last match of the season, winning 2-1. Izzy Edgar had 3 kills, 4 aces, and 7 digs. Maddi Shoemaker had 3 aces and 9 digs, and Bella Vega had 4 kills and 3 digs. In varsity action, while the team lost 1-3, they have a lot to celebrate as the regular season comes to a close. Lily Rockhold put down her 1,000th career kill in game two, tallying 17 total on the night. Jalen Smith had 32 assists, and Grace Myers had 17 digs. Caroline Queen had a solid all around performance with 11 kills and 14 digs. Adelaide Keck had 2 aces and 5 kills, Chloe Moudy had 3 kills and 2 solo blocks, and Maddi Shoemaker had 6 digs. This loss puts the team at 3rd in the MAC, moving up a spot from last season. They are 20-7 going into the Twin Lakes Invite, where they will play Tipton and Western to start the day in pool play. Thank you to all of the parents and teachers who travelled to Crawfordsville to show the team support. We hope to see you all there on Tuesday at 7:00 as the dogs open up sectional play against Brebuf.
