Your Hot Dog boys beat Crawfordsville in an absolute thriller in the first round of sectionals. The game ended 0-0 after regular time, and 0-0 after two 7 minute extra periods; moving the game to a penalty shootout. The boys netted all 5 penalties to win the game 5-4. Scoring pens was Eric Hernandez, Oscar Castro, Pablo Vasquez, Sebastian Mora, and Alexis Zavala. The coaching staff is beyond proud of the fight and resilience shown. Bench guys stayed ready to contribute and helped carry the team to the victory. The team plays West Lafayette tomorrow at 7pm in sectional semifinals. This is a rematch of a 4-1 victory for your Dogs in the regular season. This was truly one of the best and most fun (and stressful) games we’ve seen this team put together. Keep it up, boys!
