The volleyball team made a long trip to Greencastle on Saturday morning to take on the Tiger Cubs for the first time. The JV played really well, taking Greencastle to three games, but they fell in a close game three 1-2. Izzy Edgar - 4 kills, 3 aces, 6 digs Sadie Sheets - 4 aces, 9 digs Maylie Perez - 3 kills, 1 dig Maddi Shoemaker - 5 digs, 1 ace Morgan Berry - 3 aces, 10 digs Hadley Shaffer - 2 kills, 4 aces Charlie Minor - 1 kills, 1 solo block Jaylyn Stewart - 10 assists, 2 kills, 3 digs The varsity started strong, but lost momentum at the end of the first game and could not recover. Jalen Smith had a personal best of 17 digs and 4 blocks, Lily Rockhold had 12 kills, Caroline Queen had 12 digs, and Chloe Moudy had 4 kills. The JV and Varsity travel to Taylor this evening for their final road match before hosting their home opener on Thursday against conference opponent Cascade.
