Last night the boys swim team faced off in their sectional preliminary races at West Lafayette. They swam incredibly well with multiple dropped times throughout the night and multiple swimmers making top 16 and top 8. Devin Jagger placed 15th in his 200 IM with a time of 2:30.30. Isai Jimenez Zaragoza placed 11th in the Butterfly with a time of 1:01.78. Aviel Santos placed top 16 in both of his events placing 16th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:37.22 and swimming a personal best in the breaststroke with a time of 1:10.11 placing 11th. The Boys 200 Freestyle relay consisting of Aviel Santos, Max Whitlock, Joshua Hall and Isai Jimenez Zaragoza dropping time to get a 1:43.58 placing 7 and the Boys 400 Freestyle Relay consisting of Jesus Mejia Mora, Samuel Troyer, Blayne Varner and Devin Jagger placed 8th with a time of 4:26.16. The boys will head back to West Lafayette in Saturday to face off in Sectional finals
