Last night the girls swim team traveled to Lafayette Jefferson High School to face off in their sectional preliminary races. The girls swam incredibly well and a few swimmers advanced to the finals. Giselle Figueroa dropped time in her 100 butterfly to land her in 11th place with a time of 1:11.04. the Girls 200 medley Relay consisting of Madison Campbell, Jersey Spencer, Giselle Figueroa and Kloe castenada dropped time to get a 2:24.42 beating Carol to seal a spot in the top 8. The Girls 400 Freestyle relay consisting of Kloe castenada, Jersey Spencer, Giselle Figueroa and Madison Campbell also sealed a spot in the top 8 for their relay with a time of 5:07.08. The girls travel back to Jefferson to face off in their sectional finals. Good luck ladies.
