Last night the Lady Hot Dogs traveled to North Montgomery to take on the Chargers in their first conference game. In the game the Lady Hot Dogs had a very good defensive effort, especially in the 2nd half, only allowing 13 points to North Montgomery. Although the 46-15 score did not work out in our favor, we continue to see improvement in parts of the game we can build on. Leading us in scoring was Kynlee Myers with 8, Ella McAtee chipped in 4, and Ava Jarman added 3. Erin Wills, Daizy Santos Valdez, and Ella McAtee all added an assist. On the glass, we were led by Kynlee Myers with 12 rebounds and Ava Jarman secured 3. Adding to the defensive effort was Ella McAtee with 2 steals and Kynlee Myers blocked 2 shots. The Lady Hot Dogs Varsity is off until after Thanksgiving when we will play Sheridan on December 3rd. In the JV game, the Lady Hot Dogs continued to play good defense and get some easy looks in the first half, but the shots just didn't go down for us. The score did not work out in our favor, but we were led in scoring by Briana Flores with 4 and Kynlee Myers added a bucket. The JV continues to improve, and are looking forward to their next game against Sheridan on December 3rd. Let's go Hot Dogs!
