The Dogs played incredibly hard in hurricane conditions with winds over 20 mph and a downpour rainstorm during the entire second half. It is definitely fun as a football player to get to compete in a game with those conditions. Unfortunately, the Dogs fell to the #4 ranked Western Boone Stars. Lalo Castillo led the run-heavy offense with 27 carries for 105 yards. Lalo has gone over 100 yards in 5 of the 6 games this season. Dennis only attempted two passes because of the field conditions but still made an impact with 5 carries for 21 yards. Daniel Martinez, Naaman Martinez and Lalo Castillo led the defense in tackles Thanks to our game day meal sponsors for helping provide the team with meals before and after the games!
