Both the JV and Varsity volleyball teams beat Tipton on Tuesday evening. The JV won a three game thriller, with game 3 ending at 16-14. The entire team played strong. Highlights are Charlie Minor with 8 kills and 3 blocks, Julianna Machora with 8 kills, and Noemi Sandova with 21 digs. Jaylyn Stewart had 20 assists and 5 kills, Rayann Perkins added 6 kills and 11 digs, Jessica Uitts had 3 aces and 2 blocks. Avery Loveless had 8 digs, and Ella Campbell had 2 aces and 5 digs. For the varsity, Caroline Queen had 18 digs, Lily Rockhold had 20 kills, and Grace Myers had 40 assists. Emely Gil-Guijosa had 8 digs, Bella Langkop and Hadley Shaffer each had 2 kills, and Chloe Moudy and Brenly Brown each put down 10 kills. Lorelei Baetz had 9 kills and 2 solo blocks.
