The varsity and JV volleyball teams swept Southmont on Thursday evening in Case Arena. The JV won 25-20, 25-22. Leading the team was Hadley Shaffer with 7 kills, Jaylyn Stewart with 14 assists, and Avery Loveless with 2 aces . In varsity action, Grace Myers had 32 assists. Lily Rockhold had 16 kills, Chloe Moudy had 8 kills, and Brenly Brown picked up 14 digs. Lorelei Baetz had 3 kills and a solo block and Caroline Queen had 4 aces and 8 digs. Sadie Sheets had a solid serving night with an ace and led a run of 3 points on her first rotation back at the line. The team moves to 5-1 on the season and 1-0 in the MAC. They host North Montgomery on Tuesday and Delphi on Thursday next week. Don't miss it!!
