On Saturday, August 23, the Forest Park JH Varsity Boys scored twice to win 2-0 against Boonville. The score was tied 0-0 at halftime. About ten minutes into the second period, Collin Thomas won a free kick to the left of the eighteen. Carson Kellems floated the free kick over the goalie into the top left corner to give the Rangers their first goal in three games. Later in the half, Blake Vaught won the ball in a dangerous spot and lofted a shot over the goalie from around the edge of the eighteen to give the Rangers a little cushion.
