The Forest Park Cross Country team hosted the 17th Annual FP Invite and celebrated their senior athletes before the meet began. It was a special day filled with fast times and strong performances. The Lady Rangers dominated the competition, winning the meet and placing four runners in the top 10. Senior Riley Hinson led the charge, capturing first place in the girls' race. Sophomore Kendal Gehlhausen was the second Ranger to finish, placing 4th overall. Freshman Addi Evitts followed closely in 5th place, dropping an incredible 1 minute and 12 seconds off her previous 5K PR. Sophomore Lily Muller rounded out the top 10, finishing 10th, with fellow sophomore Delainey Auffart just behind in 11th, and Kendall Fischer placing 15th. Great job, Lady Rangers! On the boys’ side, senior Owen Troesch led the way with a strong 7th-place finish. Freshman Xavier Berg followed as the team’s second finisher in 14th, and senior Camden Cole wrapped up a solid day with a 19th-place finish, lowering his 5K PR by 10 seconds. Awesome job, Rangers! A huge shout-out to the CCI staff, FP Administration, Jim Mehling, and everyone who helped make this year’s FP Invite a success. Special thanks to the senior parents for organizing a meaningful senior recognition celebration! The Rangers will be back in action this Saturday as they travel to Boonville to compete in the Pioneer XC Invitational. Boys race at 9:30 a.m., and girls at 10:00 a.m. Good luck, Rangers!
