On Friday, August 8th, the Junior High Boys Soccer JV team defeated Heritage Hills JV 2-1. Ryder Winters contributed to both Ranger goals. For the first goal, Winters sent in a dangerous cross. A Heritage Hills defender attempted to block the pass from a charging ranger and sent an own goal into the net. For the second goal, Sam Ernst got behind the defense and fired a strike on frame. The Heritage Hills goalie made one of many nice saves but the ball fell to a charging Winters who smashed the ball into the net. Heritage Hills scored late to finish the scoring.
