The Rangers had another quite eventful start to the morning for the 2nd week in a row with wet courts, thankfully after hours of work the courts were playable and the sun was shining down. Forest Park played Princeton this morning for another conference match and walked away with a 4-1 win. It was a great match played by all of the girls today! Addison at 1 singles dominated with her serves and placements today, she did a phenomenal job. Sydney at 2 singles was also able to play with more power behind her hits today and it truly showed. At 3 singles, Jenna started off the first set and rallied back and forth, after she won the first set though she finished the second one quickly to give her the win. Bree and Anna at 1 doubles had a great match today, placement on the court helped them a lot and they were determined to get to their shots. While Kenley and Abba weren’t able to walk away with a win they played tough. Varsity 1 Singles: Addison Schnieder won in 2 sets against Madison Smith 6-3, 6-2 2 Singles: Sydney Berger won in 2 sets against Abigail Brown 6-1, 6-1 3 Singles: Jenna Matthews won in 2 sets against Lydia Earles 7-5, 6-2 1 Doubles: Bree Morrison and Anna Jahn won in 2 sets against Kendyl Lankford and Karli Whetstone 6-4, 6-2 2 Doubles: Abba Collignon and Kenley Schipp lost in 2 sets against Addison Schafer and Kaitlyn Doane 4-6, 1-6 At the JV side of it the Rangers were able to get a sweep! 1 Singles: Halli Boehm won against Ruthie Ice 6-4 2 Singles: Sophie Miller won against Bailey Seibert 6-1 3 Singles: Brynn Vaught won against Bailey Seibert 4-0 1 Doubles: Nora Welp and Addison Hochgesang won against Brylee Ellis and Ramsey Mull 6-4 2 Doubles: Avari Boeglin and Piper Laake won against Brylee Ellis and Ramsey Mull 4-1 Huge thank you to some of the parents and players who showed up early to start drying the courts off, we wouldn’t have been able to start at 11:00 without it! The Rangers are heading into their last week of regular season matches, they play GIbson Southern on Monday @ Forest Park!
