Last night the Rangers traveled to North Posey to play the Vikings and walked away with a 3-2 win. It was a long, cold night but the Rangers didn’t let that get the best of them. At 1 doubles, Bree and Anna set the tone of the night with the first Varsity win, they looked great on the courts and played tough. Next up at 1 singles, Addison dominated and walked away with another win for the Rangers. Lastly, Jenna at 3 singles finished up her match and won so that set the Rangers on top for the night. Sydney at 2 singles played a long, long match but fell short but not without giving her opponent a battle. Varsity 1 Singles: Addison Schneider won in 2 sets against Jaz Ward 6-4. 7-6 (7-2) 2 Singles: Sydney Berger lost in 2 sets against Braelyn Barrett 4-6, 6-7 (0-7) 3 Singles: Jenna Matthews won in 2 sets against Kylee Heath 6-4, 6-4 1 Doubles: Bree Morrison and Anna Jahn won in 2 sets against Haven Barton and Cassie Bender-Staples 6-2, 6-2 2 Doubles: Abba Collignon and Kenley Schipp lost in 2 sets against Mady Nightingale and Peyton Wassmer 1-6, 2-6 At the JV side the girls crushed it. Wins across the board, Nora played 2 matches of singles and while the 1st match didn’t go in her favor she made up for it in her 2nd match. They all played great! 1 Singles: Nora Welp lost to Raela Cullum 5-8 2 Singles :Sophie Miller beat Emma Hisch 6-2 3 Singles: Nora Welp beat Emma Glander 4-2 1 Doubles: Brynn Vaught and Avari Boeglin beat Anna Luigs and Addi Doubles 8-3 2 Doubles: Addison Hochgesang and Savannah Scherzer beat Emalyn Raber and Molly George 6-3 It was a great win for the Rangers!
