The Rangers faced the Wildcats this morning for an eventful match. The forecast was not in our favor but after a lot of effort from players, coaches, parents and all of the above we were able to get the match started a little past 11:00. The girls were able to secure a 5-0 win in the varsity spots after quite the start. Varsity 1 Singles: Addison Schneider won in 2 sets against Lilly Chapman 6-4, 6-1 2 Singles: Sydney Berger won in 2 sets against Addison Ditmer 6-2, 6-0 3 Singles: Jenna Matthews won in 2 sets against Joslyn David 6-2, 6-2 1 Doubles: Bree Morrion and Anna Jahn won in 2 sets against Kendall Voelker and Isabella Benthall 6-0, 6-3 2 Doubles: Abba Collignon and Kenley Schipp won in 2 sets against Megan Osborne and Sarah Seifer 6-3, 6-2 On the JV side the girls showed some great effort and had some close matches. 1 Singles: Hallie Boehm won in 1 set against Elise Williams 7-5 1 Doubles: Avari Boeglin and Nora Welp lost in 1 set against Emily Banks and Paula Martinez 2-6 2 Doubles: Sophie Mille and Piper Laake lost in 1 set against Sophia Reese and Mandalynn Brock 6-7 (tie break 4-7) 3 Doubles: Addison Hochgesang and Savannah Scherzer won in 1 set Lidia Juarez Fer and Madisyn Moles 6-1 The Rangers have a busy week ahead of them with 4 matches starting with Tell City, North Posey, Boonville and then Princeton.
