The Rangers made the long trip to Oakland City to take on Wood Memorial and Perry Central at Oakland City CC. While there’s still room to improve, there’s also plenty to be proud of. Forest Park came away with a convincing 14-shot win over a steadily improving Perry Central squad, 151–165. Wood Memorial did not record a team score. Collin Lorey and Ben Rasche led the way, each firing personal-best rounds of 36. Xander Fleig followed with a 38, while Noah Whitehead and Miles Rae each carded 41s. Maddox Geyer added a 43, with Jacob Bettag (44) and Ayden Steftenagel (51) competing in their first varsity match. The Rangers are back in action Saturday at Sultan’s Run for the 18-hole Showcase Invitational.
