The Fishers Tigers earned a hard-fought 28-18 victory over Zionsville on Friday night, overcoming early adversity to close out the regular season with a strong performance. Despite a challenging first half that included three fumbles, a tipped interception, and a dropped punt, the Tigers showed resilience and went into halftime with a 14-10 lead. Quarterback Gage Sturgill and wide receiver Vincent Rozzi led the offensive attack, connecting for three touchdowns on the night as the duo consistently found ways to move the ball through the air. Running back DJ Radford added a tough rushing touchdown to extend the Tigers’ lead, while kicker Micah Hillen remained perfect on the evening, converting all four PAT attempts. Defensively, Fishers delivered a dominant performance, limiting Zionsville’s big plays and forcing key turnovers. Tyler Maynard anchored the defensive front with multiple sacks, while Jayden Bogan and Carsen Eloms each came up with interceptions to stall Eagle drives. The Tigers will look to carry that momentum into postseason play when they travel to Noblesville on October 31 for the first round of sectionals.
