JV1 Red baseball outhits Columbus North in 15-0 victory

The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red team (9-11-1/6-8) collected 14 hits and limited the Bulldogs to only two hits in a victory over Columbus North by a score of 15-0. The Tigers took an early lead on an RBI single by Ethan Buelt to score Vinny Pecoraro. Both offenses would go quiet until the top of the 5th inning. Fishers was able to score 7 runs in the top of the 5th inning before the Bulldogs could record the first out. Blake Wilson, Pecoraro, Buelt, Andrew Baldini, and Micah Moore recorded singles in the inning including two perfectly executed bunts by Pecoraro and Baldini. The Tigers would add 6 more runs in the top of the 7th. Pecoraro, Buelt, and Baldini all finished the night with 3 hits while Moore and Wilson each had 2. Grant Wolf was excellent in his start on the mound working 4 innings while allowing only 1 hit and 1 walk and striking out 6. Dylan Brack worked the 5th and did not allow a hit before Alex Ellis finished with 2 scoreless innings to finish the game.
