Fishers High School

The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red team (2-2/1-2) went back-and-forth with the Zionsville Eagles early before the Eagles finally pulled away for a 12-6 victory to close out the conference series. The Tigers would strike first with 3 runs in the top of the 1st inning highlighted by a sacrifice fly from Blake Wilson. Zionsville would answer with 2 runs of their own in the bottom of the inning. In the top of the 2nd, Micah Moore reached on an error with 2 outs allowing Dylan Brack to score. Fishers would push the lead to 6-3 midway through the 3rd inning, but the offense went cold after that. The Eagles tied the game in the bottom of the 3rd and then added 2 more in the 5th and 4 in the 6th to pull away for the victory. The Tigers played well overall on defense, but untimely walks and errors contributed to the loss.
