The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red team (2-3/1-2) lost on a walk-off walk to the Greenfield-Central Cougars by a score of 13-12. The Tigers were able to score at least one run in innings 3-7, but were ultimately unable to hold onto the lead. Vinny Pecoraro homered for Fishers in the top of the 3rd inning to cut the Cougars’ lead to 2-1. The Tigers would take the lead in the 4th inning on a 2-run home run from Collin Bumps. A double from Carlos Altuve drove in Micah Moore and Andrew Baldini worked a bases loaded walk to push the Tigers lead to 6-2 midway through the 4th inning. Greenfield-Central retook the lead to end the 4th with 4 hits, two walks, and a Tiger error. However, Carter Davis hit the third home run of the night for Fishers in the top of the 6th to tie the game up again. The Cougars again answered and had an 11-9 lead going into the 7th inning. Pecoraro doubled to drive in Moore before Frey also doubled to give the Tigers a one-run lead going into the bottom of the 7th inning. After a double, the Cougars worked four consecutive walks including the game winning walk on a full count. Andrew Baldini took the loss on the mound for the Tigers as he pitched the bottom of the 7th. Donovan Proll did not factor into the decision after his start where he went 3 innings allowing 2 runs on 4 hits.
