Fishers Varsity Tigers scored seven runs in the second inning, which helped them defeat Boonville Pioneers 12-2 on Friday. Anna McGrath homered to center field, scoring two runs, Kennedy Shockley singled, scoring one run, Azstryd Alexander singled, scoring two runs, and Frankie Jackson singled, scoring two runs. Frankie Jackson earned the win for Fishers Varsity Tigers. The right-handed pitcher gave up six hits and two runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out three and walking one. Kayleigh Fodge took the loss for Boonville Pioneers. The right-handed pitcher went one and one-third innings, giving up seven runs on seven hits, striking out three and walking none. Fishers Varsity Tigers tallied 11 hits in the game. Kate Murray and Frankie Jackson were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in three runs for Fishers Varsity Tigers.
