Fishers Varsity Tigers were victorious against New Prairie Varsity Cougars 4-2 on Friday. A home run to center field by Ava Geyer put New Prairie Varsity Cougars on the board in the top of the first. In the bottom of the third inning, Fishers Varsity Tigers went back into the lead after Azstryd Alexander singled down the left field line, Hailey Kinder singled to center field, and Kate Murray doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run. Kate Murray earned the win for Fishers Varsity Tigers. The hurler allowed six hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out five and walking one. Ava Geyer took the loss for New Prairie Varsity Cougars. The starter went six innings, giving up four runs on six hits, striking out nine and walking three. Hailey Kinder and Anna McGrath each collected two hits for Fishers Varsity Tigers. Azstryd Alexander, Kate Murray, and Hailey Kinder each drove in one run for Fishers Varsity Tigers. Fishers Varsity Tigers were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error Anna McGrath made the most plays with 11.
