The Fishers Tigers traveled to Noblesville to open IHSAA sectional 4 play against the Noblesville Millers. Fishers jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first half behind touchdown passes from Caden Hill to Vincent Rozzi and JonAnthony Hall. Ryan Thembulembu paced the Tigers on the ground with 102 yards rushing. The Millers received the opening kickoff, but the Tigers defense was tough early and forced a quick 3-and-out. Fishers put together a 13-play drive that covered 81-yards including a great catch and run by Hall. Thembulembu finished the drive with an easy 7-yard run to the left side. After allowing a couple first downs, the Tigers defense again forced a punt from the Millers. Just as before, Fishers put together a good drive capped off with a beautiful throw and catch from Hill to Vincent Rozzi to give the Tigers an early 14-0 lead in the first quarter. Noblesville capitalized on a couple QB keepers from Max Miller to drive into the Tigers red zone. However, the 33-yard field goal was no good, and the Tigers took over. On the 2nd play of the drive, Hill found Hall in single coverage and JA was able to easily outrun the defender for an 81-yard touchdown. The Tigers would get the ball back again after stopping a fake punt attempt late in the first half. Fishers drove into the red zone for the 3rd time on the night and finished the possession with a 1-yard run by Denkota Fletcher to take a 28-point lead into the locker room. The Tigers received the opening kickoff of the 2nd half and appeared to continue right where they left off in the 1st half. However, penalties quickly derailed the drive including taking 2 first downs off the board eventually forcing the Tigers to punt. Noblesville connected on a play-action pass to Aiden Brewer to the 2-yard line before Ty Holmes finished with a short touchdown run to get the Millers on the board. The next Tigers drive again stalled due to penalties and the Tigers were forced to attempt a field goal which was blocked. Noblesville drove down into the red zone again late in the 3rd quarter. Max Miller ran a QB keeper on the first play of the 4th quarter to make the score 28-14 still in favor of the Tigers. Fishers put together a 12-play drive that ate up almost 6 minutes of clock and resulted in a 35-yard field goal by Jon Tangara to give the Tigers a three score lead. Noblesville would not quit though as Miller found Brewer for a 36-yard touchdown to make the score 31-21. The Millers recovered the ensuing onside kick and appeared to be mounting a comeback. However, a tipped pass was intercepted by Tristan Johnson to give the ball back to Fishers with just under 4 minutes to play in the game. The Tigers were able to run off almost 3 minutes before punting with just over 1 minute remaining. On the Millers possession, Carsen Eloms came up with the interception to seal the victory for the Tigers.
