The JV Fishers Tigers, coming off of a big win versus Avon at home, hosted the Franklin Central Flashes on Saturday morning. The game started very slow for the Tigers, with the offense stalling on multiple drives and the defense giving up a couple of big plays. Outside of an interception from Nolan Kuhn, the Tigers didn't have much to celebrate going into half down 13-0. Coming out of halftime, the Tigers turned the page and scored on the first drive by Donovan Proll. After the kickoff, the Flashes answered on the following play to make the score 19-6. The Tigers got the ball back at the beginning of the 4th quarter and threw a deep pass to Vincent Rozzi. The next series, Jackson Andrews caught an interception to get the ball back to the offense. After a long drive, Donovan Proll threw the ball to Mason Cantwell for his 3rd total touchdown of the game. With timing running out, the Flashes were driving the ball, but were stopped on another Jackson Andrews interception to seal the victory and the comeback for the Tigers, 20-19. The Tigers will play at Westfield next week at 10am. Go Tigers!
