On Saturday morning, your JV Tigers started the season 1-0 with a 21 to 7 win over the North Central Panthers. The Tigers started off hot, scoring on the first two possessions and shutting out North Central in the first half. Donovan Proll had touchdown passes to Hudson Bell and Frank Fessenden, who skyed over his defender for a 25-yard touchdown! In the second half the each of the offenses had a groove, getting first downs, but couldn’t convert in the red zone. Mid way through the third quarter, after a huge hit by Owen Stout, the Tiger defense forced a third and long and Nolan Kuhn caught a deep ball and returned it 85 yards for a score! The Panthers scored a touchdown in the 4th quarter to make the final score, 21-7. The JV Tigers will be back in action on Saturday at Pike High School at 11:30am. Go Tigers!
