The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red team (2–0, 1–0 HCC) delivered a dramatic walk-off victory over the Zionsville Eagles on Tuesday, as Cullen Wolf lined a single down the left-field line to drive in the winning run and secure a 10–9 win. After surrendering a run in the top of the first inning, the Tigers responded with a six-run outburst in the bottom half. A bases-loaded walk tied the game before Kellan Ferguson lifted a sacrifice fly to put Fishers in front. With two outs, the Tigers kept the rally alive as Eli Poisel singled to center field to bring home two runs, followed by an RBI triple from Hayden Dowell that stretched the lead to 6–1. Dowell added another RBI in the third inning with a groundout to increase the Tigers’ advantage to 7–1. Zionsville chipped away in the fourth, scoring three runs to narrow the deficit, but Fishers answered right back. In the bottom of the inning, Ferguson tripled to score Wolf and restore the four-run cushion at 8–4. The game turned into a nail-biter in the seventh inning when the Eagles plated five runs to take a 9–8 lead. Refusing to back down, the Tigers once again rallied with two outs. Henry Cherry sparked the comeback with a single, moving Jackson Pinchouck into scoring position. Drake Carnahan followed with a clutch hit to drive in Pinchouck and tie the game. Two pitches later, Wolf delivered the decisive blow, sending a line drive down the left-field line to seal the walk-off victory. On the mound, Cooper Yeakle started for Fishers and pitched four solid innings, allowing five hits and three earned runs while striking out eight, but did not factor into the decision. Poisel provided 2.2 innings of relief, surrendering two hits, striking out five, and allowing five unearned runs. Kellen Miller earned the win after entering with runners on second and third in the top of the seventh and recording a key strikeout to end the threat.
