Fountain Central Jr/Sr High School

Fountain Central came out firing on all cylinders in their conference match up against Seeger. The Mustangs fought until the end in each set winning 25-23, 25-22, and 25-23. This is the first win against Seeger since 2016. Smart net play and big plays in the back row led to the team win. Patience Bixler led the team with 9 kills. Aubrey Ashwill ended with 6 blocks and 3 kills. Makayla Carnahan had 3 kills as well. Chloe Ayers connected with our hitters allowing her to record 15 assists. Smart plays were made at the net by Savannah Bowers and Kailey Daugherty. Cadence White, Kendyl Nolan, Mallory Massey, and Citrus Wesley had 25 digs collectively. The Mustangs will play Schlarman at home on Wednesday at 6:30. The JV won against Seeger 24-19 and 25-13. Riley Deel and Ella Grubbs each had 3 kills while Jaly Kirkpatrick led with 4. Solange Herrera-Gil recorded 8 digs. Kynleigh Elkins ended the evening with 6 assists and a kill. Great teamwork was exhibited by all players.
