Fountain Central Jr/Sr High School

With the win over Lafayette Central Catholic, Fountain Central Lady Mustangs improve on the season to 8-1. The Mustangs defeated the Knights with a score of 39-31. Fountain Central showed great effort on both ends of the floor. Several Mustangs were key contributors in the win. Bella Bacon led the way for the Mustangs scoring 11 points, pulling down 9 rebounds, getting 2 steals, 2 assists, and a block. Kendyl Nolan finished the night with 9 points, 2 steals, and a block. Citrus Wesley earned 8 points, grabbed 2 rebounds, and had 3 take aways. Aubrey Ashwill contributed with 7 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 assists. Henley Good pulled in 8 rebounds, earned a block, a steal, 3 assists, and 4 points. The Lady Mustangs will be back in action at home, Saturday evening, as they take on Terre Haute South. Junior Varsity will play a full game of four quarters. Tip off is at 6:00pm with the Varsity to follow.
