The Lady Mustangs head into Thanksgiving break with a win over the North Montgomery Chargers. The Mustangs beat the Chargers by a score of 45-16. The intense Mustang defense forced 23 turnovers in the win. Leading the way in for the Mustangs tonight was Kendyl Nolan. She had 14 points, an assist, a block, and a steal. Bella Bacon scored 14 points and pulled in 9 rebounds. She also had 3 steals, a couple of assists, and a block. Aubrey Ashwill earned 9 points for the Mustangs. She pulled in 6 rebounds as well. Citrus Wesley had 5 points, 5 rebounds, and a couple of steals. Ella Grubbs came off the bench and scored a bucket through contact. She completed the 3 point play by knocking down the free throw. Ella also pulled in a couple of rebounds. Henley Good rounds out the scoring for the Mustangs with two points. She pulled in 5 rebounds and earned a couple of assists when she found her teammates. The Lady Mustangs are back in action at home on Tuesday, December 2 as they face their first conference opponent Attica. The Junior Varsity tip off is set for 6:00pm with the Varsity game to follow.
